NL Tigers Taekwondo Program Introduction
An In-Experiened Taekwondo Student
If a student do not have any experience in Taekwondo, NL Tigers Taekwondo recommends the student to
take the 2 week trial lesson offered by
NL Tigers Taekwondo. After the trial lesson, if the student wants to learn NL Tigers Taekwondo
program, he/she needs to start from the white belt of the color belt program. The
introduction of the color belt program is below.
An Experiened Taekwondo Student or Back Belt Degree Holder
If a student have some experience in Taekwondo, he/she can take a placement test offered by NL Tigers
Taekwondo. After the test, NL Tigers Taekwondo will report the results of the test to the student, and
then if the student wants to learn NL Tigers Taekwondo program, the student can start a level of the
color belt program which is decided by NL Tigers Taekwondo.
If a black belt holder wants to take NL Tigers Taekwondo program, he/she needs to bring his/her
certificate with which he/she can prove their degree in Taekwondo. The certicate issued by the World
Taekwondo Federation will be recognized in NL Tigers Taekwondo. A placement test for the black belt
holder with the certificate issued by Kukkiwon will be exempted to take the black belt program of Neo
Legend Tigers Taekwondo.
If a black belt holder has a certicate issued by other federation, the student still needs to bring
his/her certicate and also needs to take a placement test. Depending on the results of the test, the
certicate will be recognized in NL Tigers Taekwondo, and he/she can take the black belt program of
Neo Legend Tigers Taekwondo which is decided by NL Tigers Taekwondo.
Color Belt Program in Neo Legend Tigers Taekwondo
In the color belt of NL Tigers Taekwondo, students can learn basic techniques of Taekwondo such as
stances, punches, strikes, thrusts, blocks, and kicks. After learning the basic techniques, they
are able to learn forms, sparring techniques, and breaking techniques. While students are learning
the techniques, they will also learn basic theories of Taekwondo related to physical education
physiology, sport psychology, and also sociology. NL Tigers Taekwondo has thirteen levels distinguished
by color belts. Students usually can finish one level every two months and can be the 1st degree black
belt holder in three years.
The 1st Degree Black Belt Program In Neo Legend Tigers Taekwondo
After becoming the 1st degree black belt holders, students can pursue the 1st degree black belt course to
be the second degree black belt holders in NL Tigers Taekwondo. Because the WTF rules, related to the
promotion test of black belt degrees, states that the 1st dgree black belt holders need to train Taekwondo
mimunum one year, NL Tigers has designed the program to adopt the length of the time and then made 6
levels of the program. To complete course, the students need to spend approximately one year and six
months.
The 2nd Degree Black Belt Program In Neo Legend Tigers Taekwondo
Like the 1st degree black belt holders, after becoming the 2nd degree black belt holders, students can pursue the 2nd degree black belt course to be the third degree black belt holders in NL Tigers Taekwondo. Because the WTF rules, related to the promotion test of black belt degrees, states that the 2nd dgree black belt holders need to train Taekwondo mimunum two years, NL Tigers has designed the program to adopt the length of the time and then made 12 levels of the program. To complete course, the students need to spend approximately two years and six months.
The 3rd Degree Black Belt Program In Neo Legend Tigers Taekwondo
Like the 2nd degree black belt holders, after becoming the 3rd degree black belt holders, students can pursue the 3rd degree black belt course to be the fourth degree black belt holders (master level) in NL Tigers Taekwondo. Because the WTF rules, related to the promotion test of black belt degrees, states that the 3rd dgree black belt holders need to train Taekwondo mimunum three years, NL Tigers has designed the program to adopt this time length and then made 17 levels of the program. To complete course, the students need to spend approximately three years.

Two Week Trial Membership

Color Belt Membership
After students finish the trial lesson offered by NL Tigers Taekwondo, they need to decide whether or not they will continute to learn Taekwondo. To learn Taekwondo in NL Tigers Taekwondo continuously, they need to have color belt membership. Students can have one year color belt membership or three year color belt membership.
The 1st Degree Black Belt Membership
After achieving the 1st degree black belt in Taekwondo, students can pursue the 2nd degree black belt program in Neo Legend Tigers Taekwondo. To learn the program, students need to have the 1st degree black belt membership. The length of the membership is 1 year and 6 months.
The 2nd Degree Black Belt Membership
After students achieve the 2nd black belt degree and want to learn the 2nd degree black belt program
continuously, they need to have the 2nd degree black belt membership. The length of the memership is 2 years
and 6 months.
The 3rd Degree Black Belt Membership
After students achieve the 3rd black belt degree and want to learn the 3rd degree black belt program
continuously to be a master in Taekwondo, they need to have the 3rd degree black belt membership. The length of the memership is 3 years.
